Hi, my name is Hulen! 

I'm a experiential designer driven by the narrative potential of architecture, crafting spaces that immerse, transport, and connect with the human experience. I believe in the power of design to tell stories, evoke emotion, and create moments that linger in our collective memory.

I hold a Bachelor of Architecture from Oklahoma State University, Honors College Degree, and minors in Architectural History/Theory and Art History. My academic journey was shaped by research, study abroad, publication work, and design exploration across a variety of scales and contexts.

My professional experiences began as a Show Set Design intern with Universal Creative, where I was part of the Epic Universe team. Working across disciplines through construction, I gained firsthand experience in the power of immersive, story-driven environments. This experience affirmed my passion for narrative design and the artistry of worldbuilding.

As an Event Architect at Populous, I have the opportunity to further my specialized practice and work alongside an incredible team to bring global experiences to life on a world stage. Events exercise the power of our human soul, making a profound impact as spatial collectors for memory and culture.
