How do cameras perceive space?

This was a short research project where we were tasked with picking an object within the School of Architecture at OSU. I chose to investigate the cameras in our building to determine how they perceive our space. We had access to a point cloud scan of the building to help us as well. I became interested in this idea of "unguarded moments", where the cameras witness actions done by students who think they are alone in the building. I surveyed students to find out if there were aware the cameras were watching them, and if that had any effect on their behavior. I created these floorplans and section of the school using the location of all the cameras to see how much of the building was visible to the camera system.
